Last night a cold front pushed through and the temperature and humid dropped. We awoke this morning to a blue sky and a cool mountain breeze.

At breakfast, a few boys told me that they want to go to bed earlier tonight. (When as a parent do we hear this!) Activities this evening include a hike to the knob, a frog hunt, hide and go seek, and a Troop chess tournament.

Mr. Millward is driving the Troop bus for the Forestry merit badge. He's doing that along with replacing a water pump for one of the camp vehicles and leading a campsite conservation project! He making the rest of us leaders look bad! :-)

Raven Knob is in beautiful country.

However, one does quite a bit of walking. Some of the terrain is steep. Such as when heading up to our campsites Piney Ridge A and C.
